Gah! What a crock of shit! Knowledge does NOT equal intelligence

Intelligence is NOT how much you know. Intelligence is the ability to use knowledge to solve problems. By the above argument, if someone taught Harley (my macaw) how to say a complicated equation, then at least in that particular area, he would be smarter than me. Which is nonsense – he would be mimicking a string of sounds, with no comprehension of the sounds meaning.
That is why experience is more important than education, but its also why education + experience is better yet. Experience is where you figure out how to apply all that education which you’ve hopefully gotten.
