No tail, no wing feathers in the first photo. Jen, who had him for two years after that photo, got his feathers grown back. She couldn’t handle his difficult personality though (and didn’t get good color back in his feathers – the diet she had him on was OK, but not good). So, long story short, when I got him he had a nasty temper, bad feather conditioning, (but fully feathered) and some sort of infection. I had to give him antibiotics for three weeks, twice a day. And boy, wasn’t that fun……
The diet I’ve got him on is very good, but not great. The bulk of my birds diets is Harrison’s pellets.
What a difference — amazing job! Does he even have a tail in that first photo?
I have such a weakness for B&Gs — I’m in love!
